Intelligent Cutting Plans

Minimize waste: WoodWorks optimizes panel layouts for the lowest possible offcut – accounting for kerf width, the trim cut around the panel, and whether the plan can actually be cut cleanly at the saw.

Grain Direction Control

Flexibly choose whether parts can be rotated or if the grain direction (fiber direction) must be strictly maintained for premium wood surfaces.

Labels for Every Part

Create custom labels for finished parts with information on edge banding, project name, customer ID and dimensions – on any printer or as a PDF file.

Spreadsheet & XML Connection

You can enter your parts lists directly in WoodWorks – no spreadsheet program is required. The most convenient route is LibreOffice Calc (free, optional): the supplied templates and their macros are built around it and actively maintained. Alternatively, WoodWorks takes your data through the XML interface.
